Nobody Home

Last night, I discovered there seems to be someone sleeping in my miniature book shop. This morning, I thought I'd stop by and say "hello" to whatever tiny person that might be.

I knocked on the door, but it just opened when I touched it. So I called out a friendly "hello".

 

It was all dark inside, and it didn't seem that whoever was sleeping there the night before was there now.

Though, the place was rather tidy, and the pillow and  blankets I had seen through the window were all neatly stacked in the corner.

I left a note so that whoever they are, they would know someone had been lurking around in their space. I'll check back later this evening and see if they've returned.

Someone's Sleeping in my Book Store....

 Every Thursday, I have a Zoom meeting with some of my friends, and it tends to go pretty late.

Tonight, after it ended around 11 p.m., I was turning off the computer and lights and getting ready for bed when I noticed something strange.

A tiny light in the book store on my shelf.

I'm getting ready to have a table at a miniature show next month, so I haven't played with miniatures in a long time, including the book shop. I got closer to see if I could tell what was going on.

There was definitely a little light on in there. And I could just barely make out some blankets on the floor, in the corner.

I have a feeling I might know who's sleeping in the little book shop. So I decided to let her sleep, and I'll knock on the door tomorrow morning and say "hi".

I'll let you know if my hunch was correct tomorrow
