A Wylde Button Appears

A long, long time ago, there were dolls in the Wylde Kingdom. 

Many, many dolls. 

(Seriously, click on this one to make it bigger. It's a LOT of dolls. They all had names, and stories, and personalities. It was a very crazy time.) 

And then... there were none. No dolls left in the Wylde Kingdom. Not only were they gone, but I swore, absolutely SWORE there wouldn't be companion dolls in my life again. 

But I was wrong. 

This is Button, and she came to me from a friend in New Mexico. I didn't think I needed a tiny companion, but my friend did, and so she sent me one. 

My friend was right. Button arrived and took over my desk, and my heart. That face.... how could I resist? 

While I make dollhouses, there isn't a single finished one in the Wylde Kingdom right now. So Button has a fancyish tent to sleep in for now. I made it from a pattern  by Wool Felt Wonders on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WoolFeltWonders)

I am quite pleased with it, and I think Button seems to be too. 

I have to say that no one who knows me will be in any way surprised that there's a blog about her. That was CLEARLY going to happen, 'cause that's just how I am.

We'll just have to see where it all goes from here. I honestly have no idea, but I'm glad she's here, and I'm excited to see what adventures she'd like to have.
