Today, Button is gardening.... apparently. Planting button seeds?
Yep, guess so. And now they'll grow into.....
"Wait and see!" she said cheerfully.
So, I guess we'll wait and see. She planted a bunch of them, so there will be many of whatever they are.
Button requested a "work dress" and this is what I came up with. It's a variation on the Sweet Silver Creations Kelly crochet pattern "Marigold": a little sleeveless dress (for easy movement) and a little shrug for when it gets chilly. It's soft and washable, though you don't seem to get as dirty when working with felt dirt. -shrug-
(Side note: Button is completely addictive to crochet for. This has been so much fun. I haven't crocheted a lot in this scale, and it's fun. She's going to end up with a bunch of dresses. I've been mostly using the Sweet Silver Creations patterns for Kelly so far, and I love them!)
Well done, Button. Can't wait to see how your garden grows.

Maybe they will grow into little tree ornaments or gifts for Christmas, hearts for Valentine's Day, 4-Leaf Clovers for St. Patrick's Day, and Easter eggs for Easter!
ReplyDeleteTracy, That is a lovely thought!
