I could hear a lot of commotion up on Button's shelf, and went to check it out. I was not prepared for what I saw.
Two tiny dollies, very excitedly sorting through boxes and boxes and BOXES of sea shells!!!
Button explained that they knew I needed small shells for the shadow boxes I make, and so Leah got on the computer and found some.
To be fair, some of these are SUPER tiny. The smallest shells I've ever seen, matter of fact.
Some are larger too, and I'm not sure what we'll do with those yet. They seem to have plans... which makes me a bit nervous.
Button asked me if I was glad they found all the shells, and I told her that I was. They look terrific and this is going to be so great.
But I pointed out to them "You know, I made this open space on your shelf for Leah's tent. Not boxes of sea shells."
"Yeah, but it's not coming 'til Wednesday," they confidently replied.
"Well, it was. But according to the USPS email I got this morning, it'll be here today."
There was much gasping and "Oh! Oh no!"-ing. I offered to make a place in the workroom for all the shells after they were done checking the packing slips and everything. They seemed happy with that and quickly got back to work.
And I suppose I should get back to work too. Apparently I am making more shadow boxes.... many, many shadow boxes.... :)
